These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website operated by AMPEL Limited (including ampel.wine and any successor domain) and apply to all purchases made online or through our platform.

By using our site or purchasing from us, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms in full, you must not use our services.

AMPEL Limited is a UK-based fine wine merchant platform offering institutional-grade portfolio intelligence and access to investment-grade wines. We specialise in wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, and the world's most prestigious wine regions.

We hold all necessary alcohol licences under UK law. It is illegal to sell alcohol to anyone under 18. We carry out age verification in accordance with UK licensing law.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use our site or purchase from us.
• You confirm that all information provided during account registration or purchase is accurate and up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

• All products are subject to availability.
• Product descriptions, images and pricing are provided in good faith, but errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct such errors at any time.
• We may change or discontinue products at our discretion.

• Placing an order constitutes an offer to buy. Acceptance occurs when we send an order confirmation or dispatch the goods.
• We reserve the right to reject or cancel any order, including for licensing reasons, suspected fraud, or legal non-compliance.

• All prices are shown in GBP (£) and may include VAT (clearly stated).
• Prices exclude shipping, customs duties, or other applicable charges, unless otherwise stated.
• We accept major credit/debit cards and any other payment methods displayed on the checkout page.
• Payment must be received in full before dispatch.

• By ordering, you confirm that you are over 18 and legally allowed to purchase alcohol.
• We operate Challenge 25 and may require valid photographic ID upon delivery or collection.

• Delivery is available to eligible UK addresses. International delivery may be offered subject to restrictions.
• Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout. These are not guaranteed.
• Risk passes on delivery. Title transfers once payment has been made in full.
• Wines may be stored in our NEXUS bonded warehouse facilities under separate legal title.

• You may cancel most online orders within 14 days of delivery unless the goods are sealed alcoholic beverages unsealed after delivery (as per Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 exemptions).
• To cancel, contact us in writing with your order details.
• Returns must be unopened, in original packaging, and in resalable condition.
• If items are damaged or faulty on delivery, contact us immediately. We will arrange a replacement or refund.

• We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, business or reputation.
• Our total liability is limited to the purchase price paid by you for the goods.
• Nothing in these Terms excludes our liability for death or injury due to negligence, or for fraud.

All website content, branding, trademarks and images are the property of AMPEL Limited or its licensors. You may not reproduce, reuse or distribute any content without our written permission.

• You must not use the site for unlawful or abusive purposes.
• Automated data extraction, hacking, or tampering is strictly prohibited.

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection laws (including UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control (e.g. strikes, natural disasters, pandemics, transport issues).

• We may suspend or terminate your account or access for breach of these Terms or for suspected fraudulent behaviour.
• Termination does not affect rights accrued prior to termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
